Printing & PDFs: Choosing a Template

Every plan can be printed or saved as a PDF. The template you pick controls the layout.

Print or Save as PDF

Open your plan and use the buttons at the top:

Plans with a lot of drill diagrams (more than 12) take longer to build. We'll create the PDF in the background and email it to you when it's ready.

Pick a Template

Choose a template on the Plan Details step when you create or edit a plan. Click a template to select it. Click it again to see a full-size preview.

Which Template Should I Use?

Our most popular template is our Default Template - it balances information and clarity. The Light variant is great for printing in black & white.

Templates #5, #6, #9 and #10 are agenda-style. They show drill notes but not drill descriptions.

Show or Hide Drill Descriptions

In the Plan Builder, check or uncheck Include descriptions above your drill list. When it's on, each drill's description from your library prints with the drill. Turn it off for a shorter plan.

To leave a single drill's diagram off the printed plan, uncheck IMG on that drill.

Change the Text Size

Go to Plans → Plan Defaults. Under Drill options, choose a Plan text size from XS to XL. It applies to the plan view, print and PDF for all of your plans.

You can also set Show drill descriptions on printed plans here. It's on by default for new plans.

Tips

  • Set a default template in Plan Defaults so every new plan uses it.
  • You can switch templates at any time. Your drills and notes stay the same.
  • Printing on a black-and-white printer? Use Default Template (Light).
