A Coaching Report sums up a group of practice plans: how much ice time you used, what you worked on, your most-used drills and a written season summary. Use it to check your balance, or to share with parents, directors or your board.
Coaching Reports are a Premium feature.
Step 1 — Select Your Plans
Go to Plans → My Plans. Filter to the plans you want, such as a date range for one season or a single team's folder. Check the plans, or click Select all … matching to include everything that matches your filters.
A report needs at least 2 plans and can include up to 100. Only plans you own are included.
Step 2 — Create the Report
Click Export → Create Coaching Report.
- Report Title – for example "U14 Fall Season Report".
- Theme – the report's color scheme. Slate is print-friendly.
- Logo – pick one of your logos, or none.
Click Create Report. The window also shows how many reports you've used this month (you get 5 per month).
Step 3 — Read the Report
The top of the report shows your totals: Plans, Unique Drills, Total Time and Avg RPE.
- Category Distribution – how your ice time splits across drill categories.
- Timeline – minutes per week or month, broken down by category.
- Tags – how often each plan tag and drill tag was used.
- Top Drills – your most-used drills, with times used and total minutes.
- Included Plans – every plan in the report.
Season Summary
The Season Summary is a written recap of your plans. It's generated automatically and takes a minute or two to appear. It covers:
- Overview – your volume, intensity and busiest stretches.
- What You Emphasized – the drills and categories you leaned on most.
- Balance & Gaps – areas that got little or no time.
- Trends – how your practices changed over the season.
Customize, Update or Download
The buttons at the top of the report:
- Customize – change the title, theme or logo.
- Recompute – rebuild the numbers and summary after you've edited the plans in the report.
- Download PDF – save or print the report.
- Delete – remove the report. Your plans aren't affected.
Finding Your Reports
Your most recent reports show under Recent Coaching Reports on the Coach Dashboard (Plans → Coach Dashboard).
Tips
- Categorize your drills. Drills without a category land in "Uncategorized," which makes the report less useful.
- Rate drill difficulty (RPE) in your plans to get a meaningful Avg RPE.
- Run a report mid-season to spot gaps while there's still time to fix them.
- Use the Slate theme if you'll print the report in black and white.
