Folders keep your Vault tidy. You can nest folders inside folders and color-code them, and an item can sit in more than one folder.
Step 1 — Create a folder
Click New Folder. Enter a Folder Name, an optional Description, and pick a Folder Color. Click Create Folder.
The new folder is created inside whatever folder you have open. Create it from the main Vault view to put it at the top level.
Step 2 — Add items to a folder
- When adding content, click Select Folders to file it straight away.
- For existing items, open the item's ⋮ menu and choose Move.
- To move several at once, tick them and use Move to folder... in the bar that appears.
Moving and editing folders
- Drag a folder onto another folder to nest it there.
- Open the folder's ⋮ menu and choose Edit to rename it or change its color.
Deleting a folder
Choose Delete from the folder's ⋮ menu. Deleting a folder doesn't delete what's inside. Its items go back to your Vault and its subfolders move up one level.
Good to Know
- You can have up to 200 folders, nested up to 5 levels deep.
- One item can be in up to 20 folders.
- Sharing a folder shares everything inside it. See Sharing Vault Items & Folders with a Link.
Tips
- A folder per season ("2026-27 U14") with subfolders for practices, parents and tryouts works well for most coaches.
- Use colors for the folders you open most, so they stand out.
