Description
High paced no pause drill
Set up as shown , players in side the zone are defending and players outside are offensive.
On the whistle the O enters the zone protecting the puck and finding open spaces if you dont have the puck.
O tries to score while D tries to take puck away and pass back outside the zone to the next line waiting.
Players outside the zone must move with the play trying to stay in an open passing lane for the D to pass them the puck.
Once the D has gained control of the puck and passes it out to the next line the D line has finished drill and must exit the zone ASAP staying out of the way.
Once the turn over has taken place and the pass outside the zone has happened the line that was O now transitions to D and tries to gain control of puck and pass to the next line outside the zone.
The drill continues at a high pace with no stopping between transitions.
