Description
F1 passes to D1
D1 moves laterally inside blue line and passes to D4
D4 moves laterally inside blue line and makes deceptive shot/pass to F1
F1 is positioned on forehand at back post for quick tap in
*Players remain in same line and play switches to other half
*Lefty's at top, Righty's at bottom
Progression:
F1 takes up position in front of net and screens goalie
D4 takes low hard shot on forehand side of F1
F1 tips shot downward
Progression:
Move to 5 v 4 Power Play vs Penalty Kill
Umbrella with 2 D & 1 F at the top, 2 F at sides of net
Move the puck quickly to get goalie out of position
Make deceptive passes and shots
Use indirect passing
Screen the goalie
Collapse on the net for rebounds
Communicate
Defenders box up
Active sticks
Fight for inside position
Tie up sticks
Communicate
