Delay with defence shot and screen

Diagrams

Description

F1 starts with a puck and skates around the pylon toward boards (i.e. a delay). At the same time, D1 skates forward to the top of the circle and stops and begins to skate backwards. F2 beings to skate to time their arrival at the front of the net as the deep screen. F1 passes the puck to D1 (while D1 is in forward motion). F1 then skates as fast as possible into the high screen. D1 takes a shot and F1 and F2 deflect or get rebounds.

Notes: To work on delays on both sides F2 can perform the delay and F1 be a deep screen.
