Description

This is a simple breakout drill aimed at younger teams which can be done with lots of repetition. It just needs one defence and focuses on breaking out the strong side. As soon as the players pass the centre ice the next group can line up.

Notes: The next progression is to break out the weak side. Then, apply coaches' pressure to decide upon using the strong or weak side. A further progression is adding a second defence which allows for reverses and/or support.
