Pioneer 2v2 Rush drill

Description
High paced to create 2 on 2 and crashing the net.
Set up as shown, as shown red is on offense when on the right end of the rink and Blue is on defense. the opposite is true for the left end of the rink.
Drill starts on whistle as a 1 on 1 with Red on offense and Blue on defense. At some point coach blows whistle the same drill starts on opposite end and the 2 players from 1st end must skate behind the net of the end they are on and sprint down to opposite end to create 2 on 2.
Once they reach the 2 on 2 roles have reversed and Blue is on offense and Red is on Defense, players must get open and try to get a scoring chance.
If goal is scored coach will blow whistle and the second 2 players will skate behind their net while drill starts again at other end of the rink , this is a continuous drill.
Notes: The only time this is 1 on 1 is the very first pair of skaters
