Basic flow drill to get people moving
Set up as shown and start on whistle.
D1 retrieves a puck and skates behind net outside the dots and makes a break out pass to waiting F
F players on opposite side of where D pick up pucks can not move towards the hash marks until the D has picked up a puck. F then sprints to hash marks and gives D a good target.
D goes back and fourth behind net doing as many breakouts as determined prior to drill by coaches.
F must skate down outside the dots until the cross the far blue line and take a shot, after shot get the hell out of the way as fast as possible so you are not in the way messing up drills flow
Goalies switch every 3 or 5 shots.
Once drill is over goalies move to other net and drill begins again in the opposite direction.
Notes: Staying out of the way is most important.
If you miss or fumble a pass and cant recover you are done just get in line and out of the way
Can be done with 3, 5 or more breakouts per coaches
