Breakout to Shot from the point

Description
Multi level drill
Set up as shown (note the F are at the face off dot not on the blue line)
On the whistle D skates straight towards the F on their side of the ice. As the D approaches the blue line the pivot and start skating backwards towards the corner they came from not straight back.
Once the D has the puck the F then sprints to the breakout position giving a good target. The D skates backwards to behind the net and pauses long enough for the F to get in position.
D skates staying behind the goal line stakes towards the F player and makes a good breakout pass.The D then power stops and heads towards the far point assuming the D position as if in the offensive zone. The F takes the puck behind the net and makes a pass to the D at the point.
After F passes the puck they sprint to front of net to create a screen for the shot coming from the point man. D receives pass and walks down the blue line taking a solid shot from the point.
Once the shot has been taken D on opposite side that drill started starts drill again , all other players quickly return to line they started in .
Notes: Drill will be slow at first but speed will come once players are familiar with drill and responsibilities.
Do several rotations then have all played switch sides
Goalies switch every few shots, track puck movement because coach may tell players to shoot when you are not expecting .
