Description

Transitions: Evaluators will look to score players based on their ability to transition; both forward to backward and backward to forwards. Keep in mind balance, body control, efficiency and ability to maintain speed.

Slalom Skating without puck: Evaluators will look to score a player's ability to crossover and change direction as they move up the ice. Keep in mind players' ability to maintain speed, posture and body control as they change direction.

Slalom Skating with puck: Evaluators will look to score a player's ability to crossover and change direction as they move up the ice carrying a puck. Keep in mind their ability to carry the puck with their head up in an efficient manner.

Notes: Players will go on whistle. Look for player attentiveness and readiness.
