Description

Line up the players along the blue line in two groups. The coach will spot a puck into the zone and players will then look to gain possession (as a group of 3) and create scoring opportunities. The safe zone can have a player or coach. Players can move the puck to a safe zone and then skate to open spaces to receive a pass from the safe zone. The safe zone passers always pass back to the team who gave them the puck. For example, if X passes into the safe zone then the X team has puck possession and the safe zone passer would only pass back to an X team player. Both team X and team O can use both the offensive and defensive safe zones.
