This drill was created using HockeyShare.com's Online Drill Drawing & Practice Planning Platform.
To start a player comes down the left side and takes a shot, meanwhile, the centre player breaks in and shadow curls to the outside, while the far-side winger comes in and times a middle-of-the-ice curl for a breakout pass.
The player who shot then becomes the breakout passer who goes behind the net, picks up a puck and makes the breakout pass.
The winger passes up to the centre who is positioned to leave the zone. That player takes off and goes the other way for a shot, then turns into the breakout passer.
This is a continuous drill.
Notes: Progressions are adding a chip pass or adding a defensive player to go 1-on-1 with.
