Set up as shown
Coach dumps puck into corner and F1 swoops in and picks up puck and makes a bounce pass to D1
D1 must be aware and prepared for any crazy angle the puck comes off the boards.
F1 turns and goes to the net front to create a screen moving depending on which D will be taking shoot.
D1 must settle pass and dribble at least once then pass to D2, once pass to D2 has been made F5(green defending player) can now pressure D2.
F5 CAN NOT MOVE AT ALL UNTIL D2 HAS THE PUCK
D2 must decide, do they have a clean shoot that will get through or do they need to pass back to D1. If pass is made to D1 F5 as the forechecker must try to stop D1 from getting a shoot off
D1 & D2 can pass back and forth as many times as they like to get an open shoot, if pressure from F5 is too tight D1 & D2 have the option to just through the puck in a corner.
