1 v 1 Big Arc Back Check

Description
Set up as shown and start on whistle
Goalies track X players as if they were a puck carrier
O players are defending players and must turn their sticks upside down
X & O players skate out around first tire and across the ice to the side boards, both players must do a power stop and tap the boards with their sticks on the boards while facing the goal.
Once the X player crosses the blue line the passer can make a pass at anytime, the X players must be focused while they drive the net.
The O player gets as tight as the can to the X player trying to get the inside angle and take away the passing lane. O player must try to time a perfect physical contact with arrival of the puck, again without using their stick.
Shooter becomes the passer and drill starts again on whistle
Notes: This drill has several versions.

2. X passer passes to X1 and X1 carries the puck the entire drill, players do not tap the boards with sticks but puck carrier makes a bounce pass to themselves before going to the net for shot. O players again stick upside down and physically harasses puck carrier without using their stick.
