Description

Play starts when coach dumps the puck in. D on strong side is in puck recovery mode supported by the defending forward. Other D on weak side protects front of the net and provides an alternative passing option to strong side D. F1 and F2 skate hard forechecking towards puck carrier. F3 reads play and recovers puck along the boards. Play ends when either a goal is scored, goalie covers the puck or defending players carry the puck out. If full ice practice, do the drill at both ends.
