Description

Defense will start backwards as if he/she were being attacked, coach will set up in the face off circle mimicking a turnover. Defenseman will pivot, pick up the puck, and "quick up" to the forward. The defenseman will then skate across the blue line and "gap up" for a 1v1 with the forward coming from the other end.

Notes: Add second forward for a quick transition 2v1.
