as they pass each group, that group starts their lap, each group waiting for all traffic to pass before starting.

vary drills - e.g.:
1st lap 1/2 speed, focus on technique
2nd lap 3/4 speed, technique
3rd lap full speed, don't fall behind, maintain technique.
4th lap full speed
5th lap - down fwds, return bwds
