Description

Typical face off alignment, wingers on proper sides of center at hash marks.

Center attempts to chip puck forward or shoot on net. Board side winger (RW in diagram) jumps forward to try to gain puck possession or put pressure on opposing player if draw is lost. Goal side winger jumps towards net to capitalize on any rebounds.
