Passing & Puck Control Stations

Description

A BLOCK - 1st player starts with a puck and skates around pylon giving a forhanded pass to the coach. The player then continues on grabbing another puck and skates around cone giving a backhanded pass to coach. Once the player has completed 3x passes forehanded and 3x backhaded then the drill restarts with another player. Split this drill into two stations.

B BLOCK - Players are split into 2 teams. On whistle, players skate forward towards the far pylon and make tight turns, weaving through the cones. At the last cone, players turn around and weave through cones again. On last cone player passes to next player in line. Drill continues. Have players race 1st time with no pucks then on second time with pucks.

C BLOCK - Players play a modified game of Handball using a basketball. Players can not skate with ball and are forced to pass the ball down ice and knock over cone. Once cone has been knocked over, losing team gets ball and scoring team must retreat to half way. Players are not allow to use any kind of contact. Enforce netball type rules
