Backward Crossovers

Description

Station 3: (8 mins)

Backwards Crossovers (both sides). Players start backwards. Good hockey stance, knees bent, shoulders back, head up, one hand on stick. Inside leg pushing underneath outside leg, bring outside leg over top, emphasize inside leg push. Look up towards centre, shoulders facing inwards towards centre. Complete one turn, continue skating backwards to far pylon and full stop. Do lateral movement to next pylon making sure you lift left leg over completely and full stop. Then full speed quick start forward skate to goal line. Repeat using other side.
