This drill was created using HockeyShare.com's Online Drill Drawing & Practice Planning Platform.
-Puck is Dumped in and first D retrieves and sets up behind net, other D established net front.
-C will swing (note in diagram C is swinging to right side but this can and should be done in both directions) and pick up puck.
-Once C picks up puck RW will swing as illustrated as will the LW. At that time this will initiate the net front D to swing as illustrated and join the play.
- The D behind will step out on same side as puck and fill middle defensive lane and move up with the play.
-As players move to NZ there are many options with proper support and filled lanes for spreading out execution is always key
Notes: Def jumping up to try and create odd man rush and provide another option.
