Diagrams

Description

Note this drill can and should be done on both sides.

-Coach will pass puck to wing closest fwd will support and receive direct pass or Chip into the zone.

-Weak side fwd will continue across to support puck carrier.
-Fwd you enters zone will hard rim puck where weak side D man will pressure hard down to corner to receive puck as deep in zone as possible.

-Fwd's and other D will react to puck as illustrated covering lanes and finding open ice to receive pass for offensive opportunities.

-Note this drill can start with no defenders and progress by adding defenders in the zone to take away options. The key is that the weak side Defender pressures hard down low to regain possession deep in case there is a turnover it is not at the blue line.
