Description

Coach passes to forward on the boards. Forward turns and either chips the puck out or makes move around the defenceman to the inside. Passes can be direct or off the boards.

Notes: Encourage defenceman to make physical contact inside the blueline. Allow the forwards the opportunity to either chip the puck off the boards or make a move to the inside or outside to get around the defenceman. Work on forwards turning their heads and being aware of the defenceman approaching.
