Breakout and offensive shot - Full Line 4

Diagrams

Description

2 Lines, Forwards and Defense
Position players in zone, coaches with sticks upside down simulating forecheck, start with D battling coach. Once D gains posession, D2 calls for pass. D1 banks off back boards to D2. LW skates hard to the far boards to provide the wing option for the D, the center crosses low in front of the net to give the center option. D2 receives pass and looks to half boards or center for break out option. If puck is passed to winger then winger can chip around coach or directly pass to center (middle). Weak side winger makes loop and heads up through center.

Center carries puck for a short distance and then makes pass to far winger. Far winger than brings the puck in on net for a shot. Other winger follows play for a shot. Center then goes to corner, takes puck and passes back to D, D executes a D to D pass for another shot. Wingers screen.

Switch sides halfway through drill.

Coaches play passive defence with sticks up, position where potential attackers could be.
