Description

5 on 5 in one end of the ice
- forwards have to make smart passes - utilize defense, open corners, wingers, etc...
- defense have to play with their sticks upside down only using the knob of their sticks.

Notes: The key to this drill is that the players defending are to only use the knob of their sticks (upside down). This is to help the forwards realize they have other outlets like the defense, wingers, empty corners, etc... this also helps the defense battle hard along the boards, corners and helps with desire to win puck battles.
