Description

Drill is run from both sides of the ice at the same time.

F1/F2 take off with puck on whistle down the ice and try to beat D1/D2 down the ice.

While F1/F2 skate forward, D1/D2 MUST skate backwards at least until red line. Once at red line, D can pivot to catch up as necessary or continue skating backward. If possible, D should make a hit or stand up the F at the blue-line. This drill will stress acceleration, speed, and agility for both D and F.

Stress to the D that they should not be getting beat by forwards.
