Perpetual Full Ice 2-on-1

Description
One of the goalies starts with the puck. F1 and F2 come back into their own zone through the middle of the ice. F1 makes himself a passing option for the goalie and F2 provides support for F1. D1 steps up as much as possible to take away the time and space from F1 and F2 now attacking on a 2-on-1. The 2-on-1 only ends when either a) a goal is scored, b) the goalie covers the puck, or c) the D gains control of the puck and passes to F3 or F4.
As F1 and F2 were attacking through the neutral zone, F3 and F4 back checked into their own zone through the middle of the ice. The back checkers are not allowed to interfere with the 2-on-1 or to go below the ringette line in the defensive zone. They mimic the defensive positioning that the defensive zone wingers would have if they were defending their own zone (one in the slot, one covering the strong side defenceman rotating if the puck switches sides). They can only interfere with the ongoing 2-on-1 if the puck comes above the ringette line, otherwise they will only get the puck from a pass from the goalie or D1 once the 2-on-1 has been played to completion.
Once F3 and F4 receive the puck, they break out against D2, who has jumped out into the middle to play the new 2-on-1. F5 and F6 would then become the two back checkers following the play back into their zone.
Notes: If you have a team of 12 forwards and 6 defence, this drill can progress to a 3-on-2, where 3 forwards back check and practice their defensive positioning and 2 defence men jump out to play the 3 forwards once they are able to break out.
