Neutral Zone - Angle race
- Coach throws puck in front of either player and its a race to score on the reverse net.
- Player who is given the puck lane tries to maintain control and score.
- Player who is checking the puck needs to use stick checking and angling to steal the puck before the other player scores. If player manages to steal the puck, this player can now score and the other player is now defending.
Left Zone Circle - Tight Turn Battle
- Players line up in both hashmarks.
- Players skate hard inside and tight turn outward around the cone closest to the.
- Simple 1on1 battle for puck and try to score.
Right Zone Circle - 1on1 Quick Strike
- Coach throws a puck into the grey square and players battle for possession.
- If puck goes out of the grey square area, coach throws in a new puck.
- Players battle for possession and try to quickly score.
- Game is played until 2 or 3 points and new pair is filtered in.
