Description

Line players up as shown, create teams of 3 players ( I use my current line combos).

On the coaches whistle the 1st players in each line must race forward touching the face off dot in the circle then get to the puck, the D don't move until the forwards have passed them and then all they do is move into the face off dot and face the puck carriers.

The 2 forwards fight for procession of the puck, once one has procession they must race out from behind the net and outside either circle to the inside hash marks and take a shot. After shot has been taken the those same 2 forwards again chase down the rebound and the D men now take up their D positions, 1 fighting for the puck and the other in front of the net keeping it clear.

Once one of the forwards has procession of the puck he can then pass back to his line mate creating a 2 on 1, the D men play D against both teams. The forwards continue adding their team mates after a shot has been taken, if at anytime the forward passing back to his line mate makes a bad pass and the puck gets away that team losses a player who goes back in line.

This continues until one team has all 3 players in action and scores a goal, that team gets 1 point and game is over, switch out D men and bring in another team to compete with the winning team.

If at anytime a goal is scored the coach just trows in another puck and drill continues.
