Puck Protection 1 v 1

Diagrams

Description

Xs start with a single puck in each of the five circles and protect the puck from opponent. Players in faceoff circles at each end try to maintain puck possession and get open for a shot on the goalie. Goalies must be ready for a shot from either circle. Coaches feed additional pucks after shots. On the whistle the players must again maintain puck possession while skating to the next circle. Players change possession as needed.
