Mite passing drill

Diagrams

Description

X1-4 line up at dot, blueline, redline, and blueline as shown.
Drills starts with all other players and pucks in corner.

Simple drill of follow your pass and take that players spot.

After last pass to X4, variations can be made on how to approach net. In this case the player rounds cone and goes in and takes shot from angle.

Notes: Emphasize preparing yourself before you get the puck and knowing exactly where you want to pass it afterwards.

Make eye contact with passer and put stick on the ice to show where you want to receive it.

Once pass is made, take spot quickly, don't admire your pass.
