Description
Left - Station 1
-X3 Skates w/ Puck around circle, passes puck to Coach
-After pass to Coach, X3 Skates around border as shown, pivots, and receives puck back from Coach
-After shot, X3 skates to corner, picks up a puck, skates briefly around net and passes to X4 who then starts the drill
Center - Station 2
Game of Tag
Lay 2 sticks 5-6 feet apart. O1/O2 must catch X1/X2
Stick act as a wall. O1/O2 cannot jump over stick
Continue drill for 30 sec and stop for rest
Right - Station 3
4 Tires on ice
X5 skates clockwise around first tire, up to 2nd tire, pivots and skates backward to 3rd tire.
After 3rd tire, player pivots and skates to 4th and final tire, turns Counter-clockwise and back in line.
Once first player is at 2nd tire, next player in line goes.
Notes: In station 1. 2nd player in line goes after first player (x3 in this case) completes full circle.
After shot is taken, pass the puck to whoever is in from of line.
Avoid going one player at a time for the entire drill, as the other 4 players will be standing around too long
