Drive Net & Pick Up Puck

Diagrams

Drill Preview

Description

Forwards and Defence are seperated.
Forwards:
F1 has the puck, makes a pass to F2. F1 skates hard to the net. F2 stickhandles with the puck and makes a hard pass to F1 driving the
net. F1 has the option of just deflecting the puck at the net or stopping the puck and shooting. F2 after passing breaks for the net
looking for rebounds.
F3 and F4 do the same on their side at the same time as F1 and F2.
Have players switch from shooting to the passing line each time through. They can also change sides with F3 and F4 so they get a
chance to pass and shoot on both the backhand and forehand.
Defence:
Coach shoots the puck into defensive zone, either short medium or deep. Defenceman goes back to retrieve the puck and curls out with
the puck with speed.
Both sides can go at the same time
