Description
Position D in end as shown (Both ends are shown to show drill progression)
Wheel
D come out and pivot at blueline, d skate backwards to dot and then pivot again. Coach dumps puck into the corner. D retrieves puck and wheels and makes pass to coach who is mimicking center. D then reset. Run 5-6 repetitions per D pair. After repetitions switch pairs.
TALK: Ensure D in front of the net is calling WHEEL
Partner
D come out and pivot at blueline, d skate backwards to dot and then pivot again. Coach dumps puck into the corner. D retrieves puck and makes partner pass. Partner makes pass to D against the wall.
TALK: Ensure D partner is calling out for partner pass.
