Description
Wrist Shot - See video for key coaching points. Coach to demonstrate proper wrist shot line up players 6 feet or more away from the net. Put the net in a corner to keep all the pucks close. Have each player take a turn shooting the puck and provide feedback.
Stops and Starts - Setup cones to give the kids a visual target of where they need to stop. Have them stop and face the stands, all in the same direction. Once they get to the last cone they will return the other way, again turning to face the same way as before so that they stop using both sides.
Passing - Coach to demonstrate proper passing form. (see video). Have players start very close to each other. Make sure to have rescue pucks ready. Let the kids know to stay in position and the coach will get you another puck.
