Atom Stations Passing, Stops and Starts

Description

Station #1 Follow your Pass
Have players start in designated spots. P1 has puck and passes to P2, After pass P1 skates and takes the place of P2. P2 passes to P3, continue following same pattern.
When P4 receives pass he then takes a shot on net, after shot he joins line to start drill.
Stagger starting of drill to allow players to reach next spot and prepare to receive next pass.
Goalies should start in a position to track last pass before shot.

Station #2 Stationary Pass

Pair players up and have them stand facing each other 5-10 meters apart. Have them pass to each other. Introduce forehand and backhand passing.

Station #3 Stops and Starts
Players start along boards and quickly accelerate and stop at each pylon, players should stop facing forward at each pylon.
After the 3rd pylon the player will skate around 4th pylon, open up for a pass from coach and take a shot on net.

Notes: Coaches in place to execute drills, encourage proper techniques and maintain pace of drill.
