Description

F1 skates toward F2 in neutral zone and flips a pass around the midpoint of the ice. F2 then carries around cone, with F1 timing the entrance to the zone so they are onside, but both at full speed. D starts at half boards when F1 and F2 start skating, then touches blue line, pivots to skate backwards and defend the 2 on 1. F2 can shoot or pass depending on what D gives them.

Notes: This can also be made into a 3 on 1 drill. I use this as a warmup drill or a quick change-up drill to get the legs moving.
