Description
Drill starts with 3 Forwards( black team)positioned with puck low in zone with 2 Def (red team) . 3 more forwards (red team)position above top of circle with a puck and 2 Black team Def at point .
Drill starts on coach whistle Black team forwards play 3 on 2 against Red Def below circles. (cycling , give-in-go rebounds eat ) . Play continues until coach blows play (goal, def clears).On that whistle red forwards break out against the 2 Black Def on opposite net . 3 Black forwards pursue in back checking role and Red D join in on offence . Play continues until goal, puck cleared.
Notes: First back checker to take closest unguarded man to net , others to take closest unguarded man.
3 on 2 tactics low (cycling), and on rush ( late man , open man )
