Game goes like this:
The game is 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3. Players must pass the puck every 3 seconds or less and cannot shoot until each player has touched the puck 3 times. So tell a player they can shoot on 3rd pass received. The team without the puck should play good defense. Use defensive side positioning, stick on puck, body on body,smash and grab, steering, angling etc.
Notes: The idea of the game is to teach players how to pass, get open, and play defense under tight game like conditions. This is a good game for conditioning. If you want strong competition say losing team does pushups etc. This is a great drill for conditioning as players skate hard. Rotate players every 60-80 seconds.
