Novice Crossovers

Diagrams

Description

ONE LEG PUSH - inside leg stays bent and outside leg pushes. Head stays level and inside leg stays bent! More the knee is bent, the bigger the push will be as the outside leg will be at full extension.
ADD THE CROSSOVER - Add in the crossover and stress both "pushes". One push with the outside leg while inside leg is bent. Once outside leg is done pushing, it comes over top of the inside bent knee and that inside bent knee then "pushes" after outside leg come over top and bends.

Notes: Also practice backward cross overs. And pivoting cross overs by always facing score clock.
