Defensive zone coverage

Diagrams

Description

-The D puts presure on the puck carrier.
-The C supports the D.
-The net D is watching the slot area and is in position to deflect a pass to the slot or tie up a stick.
-The LW is covering the D and is ready to intercept a pass to the D.
-The RW is covering the high slot and and any player in that area. He should be ready to intercept or deflect a pass away from the high slot area or the weakside D.
-If there is a shot on the net the players around the net must tie up someones stick so they are unable to get a rebound.
