Description
F1 allows D1 to commit to one side of the ice and then uses stick and body position to not allow him or the puck to come back across the ice. (Cut the ice in half). F1 will then cut back towards the middle to prevent middle support, a cross ice pass or a pass back to the defense.
F2 reads play and then pinches puck carrier off along the boards. Stick and body position are again important to not allow play to the center of the ice.
D1 and D2 ensure they are limiting options to other players up ice by maintaining proper gap and angle.
