Defensive Zone Face Off (LOST)

Diagrams

Description

After realizing that he has lost the face-off, C plays his man and ensures opposing C cannot get a pass or rebound off a shot.

RW races to his man at the point to prevent or intercept a D-to-D pass.

LW speeds through circle to pick up a loose puck. If the puck is pulled back to an opposing D or winger, LW pressures play.

RD stays with opposing winger to keep the front of the net clear for our G and to clear any rebounds.

LD gets to the front of the net quickly to also clear the net and rebounds.
