2 on 0 with back checkers

Description
players will line up in each corner of the rink, one side starts with pucks.
1. drills begins with 2 players at on of the rink skate out of zone and make their way to the other end. Players should try to make at least three passes and enter the offensive zone with 1 player staying high in the slot for a pass.
2. after players take a shot on net they will skate to the end boards and hit them with their sticks. this signals the 2 players, at this end of the rink, to begin skating and go for a shot 2 on 0.
3.the first 2 players that hit the boards will now backcheck back up the ice chasing the 2nd pair of players that have just left.
4. backcheckers should try to baox out players and get between the skater and the net. also, work to break up they play and not just shadow the skater,
5. skaters will repeat this process for 5 minutes and then change sides and do another 5 minutes
Notes: coaches should watch that players don't cheat and leave when they are supposed to
