This drill was created using HockeyShare.com's Online Drill Drawing & Practice Planning Platform.
This drill is designed for the offensive players to find
A) open space
B) find the open man
Set everything up as shown, drill starts with coach throwing puck into play.
The closest forward pursues the puck while the D men come into play, 1 D chases puck carrier while other D covers the front of net
The 3 forwards move the puck around while keeping the triangle set up and taking shots when possible
If the D get possession of the puck they must dump it into the opposite side and continue the drill against the other 3 forwards. If the D never get possession at some point the coach will blow his whistle and the player with the puck dumps the puck onto the opposite side.
All players must pay attention because should there be a bad pass and the puck makes it to the opposite side the play moves to that side without any stoppage.
Notes: Players in front of the net get set and ready, you are not there to watch the game, get your DAM STICK ON THE @#*%&% ICE !!!!!!!!!
