Description

Drill that simulates the start of a breakout - also works on wide net drive and keeping a tight gap

Set up 4 pylons as shown
- On go F starts skating and D hits the F with a pass in stride
- F continues with the puck towards the far pylon and then turns towards the boards
- After passing, D skates to the near pylon and pivots towards boards
- D tries to keep F to the outside and maintains a good gap
- F reads the defense, if the outside is open take it, if the inside is open, take it.

- Switch positions each time
