Half Ice 2 on 0 Regroup

Description
1) D1 and D2 at center redline.
2) F1 and F2 in corners with pucks.
3) On whistle, D1 and D2 skate forward across blueline.
4) D1 gets pass from F1.
5) As soon as pass is initiated, F1 and F2 take off and D1 and D2 pivot forward to backward.
6) F1 and F2 cross at blueline while D1 give a cross ice regroup pass to D2.
7) D2 make pass to F1 cutting across blueline.
8) F1 then carries puck and has option to shoot on net with F2 crashing for rebound, or pass to F2.
9) After shot, forwards go to the opposite corner from which they started.
10) Next sequence of drill starts from F2 corner of ice.
Notes: 1) Defensemen need to play D1 and D2 position so they work on making and receiving passes on forehand and backhand.
2) Can add skill element by having coach (standing below goaline) pass a puck out to D1 or D2 and have them take a shot on net with F1 and F2 screening goaltender.
