This drill was created using HockeyShare.com's Online Drill Drawing & Practice Planning Platform.
Simple drill designed to learn puck control and proper passing through opposition players.
Line up as shown using 2 2x4's laid on the ice as shown. On the coaches go the players skate parallel to the 2x4's passing the puck back and forth under control , this is not a race so speed is not important......control is the important thing.
Once you have made as many passes as possible the player who last processes the puck does a drop pass back to the player new in line.
Once the drop pass has been made both passers sprint to get in the next line while the next pair of passers go. Make sure you switch sides of the 2x4's when switching sides. Pay attention to the color of the players above and where they go
If a pass gets away everyone drops and does 25 push ups.
Notes: Use only 2 pucks 1 per side as this will keep control and pace of players doing the drill
