Description

Players in two equal groups on each blue line on opposite sides of rink.
When whistle blows, players in both lines move one at a time toward the net and release a shot on net, then skate hard to the far blue line, wait in line for next whistle. May also add pushups
Coach will designate which type of shot to take.
Switch sides after several reps.

Notes: Begin with drill with backward skating, forcing players to pivot forward before shooting
Increase rate of whistles.
